Democracy Schools in Georgia: Empowering Young Leaders
About the project
This project aims to enhance the education of future leaders dedicated to democracy in four target regions of Georgia: Adjara, Shida Kartli, Kakheti, and Imereti. This is accomplished through ‘democracy school’ training programmes and the establishment of networks among young leaders in Georgia, both locally and internationally. Special attention will be given to connecting young Georgian politicians with their Danish counterparts.
The overarching idea behind the project is that a stronger grassroots commitment to democracy and democratic governance, along with the emergence of new leaders dedicated to democracy across Georgia, will have an additional impact, better sustaining and reinvigorating Georgian democracy.
This project is supported by New Cooperation Mechanism.
