Amid ongoing war and rising anti-LGBTQI+ sentiment in Ukraine, this projectcounters gender-based disinformation and societal polarization fueled by Russian narratives. Led by a coalition of NGOs, the initiative produces a 12-episode YouTube series, Someone Loves Someone, exploring the lived experiences of LGBTQI+ people during wartime—covering topics such as lifeunder occupation, LGBTQI+ soldiers, and rights under martial law. In addition, two public events co-organized with ZMINA Human Rights Center will challenge myths and misinformation through panel discussions and lectures. The project aims to raise awareness, combat discrimination, and foster solidarity through widespread digital outreach and community engagement.
