The Queer Voices International Film Festival is Moldova’s leading cultural platform dedicated to LGBTQI+ visibility and rights through film and the arts. Over several days, the festival showcases 12 feature films, interactive workshops, Q&A sessions, and artexhibitions. A key focus is empowering emerging queer filmmakers to tell their own stories through short documentaries. Featuring performance art forms such as whacking and drag, the festival creates a vibrant space for self-expression, dialogue, and community-building. By partnering with international creatives and human rights advocates, Queer Voices bridges activism and art, sparking meaningful conversations and driving positive change both locally and globally.
