In the face of growing disinformation and democratic backsliding in the South Caucasus, this joint initiative by Women’s Fund Armenia and Women’s Fund Georgia brings together human rights defenders across sectors—particularly women’s rights, peace, and environmental activism. The project counters harmful narratives promoted by anti-human rights and pro-Russian actors that frame democracy, feminism, and human rights as threats to national identity or security.
Through cross-border collaboration, community-building, and the creation of joint platforms, the initiative fosters solidarity and mutual support between Georgian and Armenian activists, promoting accurate information and collective resistance to authoritarianism and conflict escalation.
