New Cooperation Fund
The New Cooperation Fund is now open for applications. The New Cooperation Fund counts 10 million DKK for longer co-operation and exchange of experience between NGOs, knowledge, cultural and educational organisations in The Eastern Neighbourhood Countries and Denmark.
The New Cooperation Fund represents The New Democracy Fund’s ability to support cooperation between civil society organizations (CSOs) and cultural, educational and knowledge institutions in Denmark and the Eastern Neighbourhood Countries – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine – to:
- develop new or innovative people-to-people cooperation and exchange of experience
- enable the continuation of existing partnerships for further development of valuable experiences and to contribute to building sustainable partnerships
These New Cooperation funds are channelled through The New Democracy Fund to support strengthening of democratic civil society and lasting sustainable regional networks, between civil society organisations in Denmark and the Eastern Neighbourhood Countries.
Who can apply?
The New Cooperation Fund is for civil society organisations, cultural, educational and knowledge institutions registered in Denmark (NGOs and self-governing institutions) with experience or partners in the Eastern Neighbourhood Countries.
Civil society is defined as democratically organised CSOs, social movements, media, academia, trade unions as well as community-based groups and organisations, including cultural, educational and knowledge institutions.
How to apply
The deadline for the first round of applications is 8 August 2021. Questions on how to apply can be mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org – which is active until the deadline except from weeks number 28 and 29 (12 July through 25 July 2021).
